H3(Heavy)is a 5.4 oz Buffer for your AR15, M4 Carbine. These are made by a government contractor who also makes them for Colt. The heavier weight buffer is used to slow down the cycle rate on carbine style AR rifles which helps lengthen receiver life. A heavyweight buffer could potentially increase performance on hotter loads by slowing the cycle rate enough to allow the magazine to ready a new round for the chamber. Please use caution when adding a heavier buffer to your rifle build, as too heavy of a buffer can prevent reliable function.
