Pivot Pin(Front)

The Pivot Pin is also known as the Front Pin, it is located at the front of the lower receiver adjacent the magazine well.The Pivot Pin is designed to secure the lower and upper receivers to one another. It allows the upper receiver and barrel assembly to pivot around the lower receiver once the takedown pin has been removed, which provides for simple cleaning and routine maintenance without fully disassembling the rile.
